I am seeking information about photos / images / drawings of horse carriages made by an ancestor of mine, namely William Phayer. He was a famous coach builder in Limerick City from 1836 - 1879 and had a number of coach building businesses in the city. My reason for contacting you is that I am in the process of completing an article about my ancestor and have been trying to track down any photos / drawings of horse coaches or carriages, designed / refurbished / modified by this man, but so far have been unable to locate such an item. Can you tell me, would have any of the following types: Landeaus, Jaunting Cars, Phaetons, Croydons, Clarences or Malvern Carts with Wm Phayers stamp on them? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
