By becoming a member of SCDA for 2010 you will get:

Members will be aware that the SCDA pays an annual affiliation fee to the BHDTA which amongst other benefits, provides the all-important insurance cover for our events and for drivers attending events. The fee is based on a levy of £15.75 for all members with voting rights in the Club, and this amount is included in the subscriptions detailed above. For those who do not wish to compete as drivers at events, and who see no advantage in enjoying voting rights but wish to be part of and support SCDA, you might like to consider the Supporters category. Supporters will not enjoy the voting rights on constitutional matters, which seldom arise, but will still be kept in touch with what is going on by the newsletter and by being welcome to attend the annual conference. SCDA pays no levy to BHDTA on the Supporters category.

The British Horse Driving Trials Association

All regularly competing carriage drivers are encouraged to become members of the British Horse Driving Trials Association. It is compulsory for all drivers and grooms to be members of the BHDTA in order to compete at National Horse Driving Trials.

The benefits of membership are:

JOIN THE BHDTA AND SUPPORT SCOTTISH DRIVING

The BHDTA will give the Scottish Carriage Driving Association a discount in our affiliation fees for every SCDA member who is also a member of the BHDTA. Please indicate on the membership application form if you are or intend to become a member of the BHDTA.
